Responsibilities Of BDS Malaysia Members
Members should:
- Support the stated goals of the BDS movement as called for by the Palestinian civil
society’s call for Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions http://www.bdsmovement.net/call). - Specifically, the 3 conditions that Israel should fulfill are:
(i) Ending its occupation and colonization of all Arab lands and dismantling the Wall;
(ii) Recognizing the fundamental rights of the Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel to
full equality;
(iii) Respecting, protecting and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return
to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN resolution 194. - Agree that the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC) is the reference point for
BDS campaigns. - Agree that partisan (Malaysian) politics should not be introduced into the movement.
- Agree to abide by the spirit, rules and regulations of BDS Malaysia.
- Attend meetings, or if unable to do so, inform the Executive Committee beforehand.
- Support BDS campaigns that have been agreed upon.
