BDS Malaysia Statement of Condolence on the Assassination of Ismail Haniyeh
To our Palestinian brothers and sisters,
With profound sorrow, BDS Malaysia extends our deepest condolences to the Palestinian people on the tragic assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.
Mr. Haniyeh will be remembered for his unwavering resistance against Israeli oppression and his tireless dedication in the liberation of Palestinians. He leaves a legacy that will be remembered for generations – one of dignity, courage, resilience, and unyielding commitment to Palestinian struggle for independence.
In this time of immense sorrow, we stand in solidarity and mourn alongside our Palestinian brothers and sisters. This assassination is yet another reminder of the struggle and sacrifices endured by Palestinians in their pursuit of liberation and self-determination.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his vision and sacrifice inspire us to continue advocating for a free and sovereign Palestine.
